Bemis® Releases Atwood™, a New Enameled Wood Seat with Redesigned Hinge System

Simplify Toilet Seat Installation and Cleaning!

SHEBOYGAN FALLS, Wis. (November 1, 2019) - Spend less time cleaning your toilet and more time doing the activities you really enjoy! Bemis’ new Atwood toilet seat features the redesigned EasyClean™ hinge system that simplifies the installation process.

With fewer components, Easy•Clean’s intuitive design not only shortens and simplifies installation, but makes removing the seat for cleaning a breeze. Simply lift the hinge caps and pull the seat forward to access hard-to-clean areas.

Bemis’ Atwood was designed in a contemporary style, with modern lines that add elegance to any decor. Atwood was inspired by the needs of the everyday user. Studies show that more than 85 percent of consumers value stability, while 80 percent desire hygiene and easy cleaning. Atwood answers these needs!

This beautiful seat features Precision Seat Fit™, allowing users to perfectly position the seat on the bowl during installation. Seat shifting won’t occur, either, thanks to Atwood’s STA-TITE® Seat Fastening System™, featuring its Never Loosens™ technology.

Atwood fits most manufacturers’ round or elongated bowls. Its Whisper•Close™ feature lets the seat close slowly and quietly, eliminating slamming and pinched fingers.

“Atwood’s redesigned hinge lets users install and clean their seat in less time,” said Melissa Glancey, Bemis’ Vice President of Market Development. “This innovative seat provides the stability and comfort they require and beautifies their bathrooms with its fresh design.”

All Atwood toilet seats are made in the USA with earth-friendly materials and processes and are offered in two color variations that resist chips, wear and stains. All seats are backed by a One-Year limited Warranty and prices may vary by location.
